Imagineering
Since 2005 I've been the chief imagineer at Miniworld Rotterdam. Our team devised and implemented the highly imaginative concepts of this tourist attraction as a whole that attracts 85.000 visitors a year. Imagineering in this context also means designing and working on miniature layouts, as well as specifying, developing and/or implementing the (electrical) operating and control systems.
Enterprise Architect
I specialize in analyzing, designing, planning and implementing business structures, processes and data to see that they align with business goals effectively and efficiently. I also focus on business intelligence and standardizing and consolidating processes and data for more consistency within (management) information flows within the business.
Desktop Publishing +
I create the words, visual concepts and develop the overall layout and production design for books, advertisements, brochures, magazines, corporate reports and other items that are printed or put online. I have 15+ years experience working as copywriter, graphic designer and desktop publishing with Photoshop and InDesign.
Webdesign
I develop and create look, layout and features of websites, mainly from a creative customer based approach. I have 15+ years of experience in using Dreamweaver and Photoshop. Also I maintain and manage websites.
CAD Design
I specialize in creating designs and schematics for scale modeling, architectural and residential use, building construction and product manufacturing, using computer-aided design (CAD) software and Sketchup. I work closely with the Miniworld Rotterdam model workshop in the production of architectural scale models and layouts using CNC milling, lasercutting and 3D printing.
